Enjoy the open-air cruising around Los Angeles in CODE BLUE, a 2020 Polaris Slingshot SL with automatic transmission, Bluetooth, FM/AM radio, rear-view camera, and a unique sunroof for sun protection.

This three-wheeled, street-legal auto cycle turns heads and attracts attention wherever you go. Sorry kids, we only rent to adults 21 years of age or older. Your driver's license will be verified.

It is very fun to drive with all features you will need to be comfortable. CODE BLUE is in excellent condition so treat him as if he were yours.

If you don't, you will be charged accordingly.

***PLEASE READ BELOW PRIOR TO RENTAL***

  • You must return the Slingshot within the timeframe agreed or it will be disabled. You will be charged $0.86 per mile if we have to pick it up. You can call to extend your time.
  • YOU MUST ONLY USE PREMIUM GAS (91). The Slingshot will stall and the check engine light will come on if any other type of gas is used. If we have to pick up the Slingshot and flush the gas tank, you will be responsible for towing charges and repairs.
  • No burnouts or track use. The tire tread will be measured. If tires show excessive wear or chunks missing, you will be charged the cost to replace the tire.
  • Code Blue is only for local riding. You are allowed 150 miles per day. If mileage is exceeded, you will be charged $.50 per mile beyond the included daily limit.

Why do you want to rent the Slingshot? *

You are required by California law to wear a helmet at all times while operating the vehicle.

You are responsible for all charges related to damages and tolls. We inspect our vehicle before and after your rental. Any signs of misuse, abuse or physical damage that was not there before you took the vehicle is deducted from your deposit of $300. By signing below, you agree to pay for any additional charges incurred during your rental period. You agree not to allow anyone other than yourself or other authorized renters under your rental agreement to operate the vehicle. You agree not to perform stunts of any kind on your rental including but not limited to, drifting or burnouts. You are only allowed 150 miles per day, any additional mileage will be charged $.50 per mile. If the vehicle is not returned by the agreed-upon time, the vehicle will be disabled, and you will be charged $.86 per mile to pick up and return the vehicle.

During your inspection, we will show you the tire pressures and gas levels. Your rental will be provided with a full tank of PREMIUM gas (91). If you did not purchase prepaid fuel, replenish gas with PREMIUM gas 91 only. We require proof of receipt. If your rental is returned with less fuel, $50 will be deducted from your deposit. Please report mechanical problems to us immediately. You will be responsible for unreported mechanical damage.

This is a contractual agreement to rent the Slingshot. We may repossess the slingshot at your expense without notice if the vehicle is abandoned or used in violation of the law or this agreement. You agree to indemnify us, defend us, and hold us harmless from all claims, liability, cost and attorney fees we incur resulting from or arising out of this rental and your use of the vehicle.

Code Blue rentals are intended for local riding. Each rental includes 150 miles per day. Additional mileage will be charged at a rate of $0.50 per mile beyond the included daily limit. Mileage is calculated based on total usage during the rental period (e.g., 2-day rental = 300 miles included). Customers may request prepaid additional mileage packages at a discounted rate, subject to availability.

A security damage deposit HOLD of $300 is automatically added to the purchase. This security deposit hold will be released within 24 hours after the vehicle is returned, so long as there are no damages assessed. If there is damage to the rental, you are responsible for the amount of damage up to the insurance deductible. In the event of a damage claim, you are free to utilize your own insurance to offset these costs - this would be negotiated between insurance companies. Proof of personal liability insurance is required.

All bookings are final. A 25% discount is offered on your next purchase if a cancellation is made at least 24 hours in advance. The discount is valid for one year from the date of purchase. No exceptions.

Vehicle Pickup

  1. Confirm reservation details – Check your booking time, location, and driver requirements before heading out.
  2. Bring required documents – Have your valid driver’s license, payment method, and reservation confirmation ready.
  3. Arrive at the pickup location – Get there at least 5 minutes early to avoid delays.
  4. Inspect the Slingshot – Walk around it and note any existing damage; take photos if needed.
  5. Receive a safety briefing – Listen to instructions on how to operate the Slingshot, including controls and safety features.
  6. Adjust your setup – Set the seat, mirrors, and familiarize yourself with pedals and gear shift.
  7. Put on safety gear – Wear provided helmet and seatbelt at all times.
  8. Start the vehicle – Follow the staff’s instructions to properly start the Slingshot.
  9. Test basic controls – Check brakes, steering, and signals before leaving.
  10. Exit carefully – Pull out slowly and follow all local traffic laws.

Vehicle Dropoff

  1. Confirm Return Time
    Please return the Slingshot at the agreed-upon return time. Late returns may result in additional fees.
  2. Refuel Before Returning
    If you did not purchase the prepaid gas option, you must return the Slingshot with the same fuel level it had at pickup. Use 91 octane fuel only (Chevron preferred). Fuel shortages or use of incorrect fuel may result in additional charges.
  3. Clean Out Personal Items
    Remove all personal belongings, trash, and items from the Slingshot before returning it.
  4. Inspect for Damage
    Check the Slingshot for any new scratches, dents, tire damage, or other issues before return.
  5. Return to the Approved Location
    The Slingshot must be returned to the agreed drop-off location unless another location was approved in advance.
  6. Return Keys and Accessories
    Return all keys, helmets, chargers, storage items, and any accessories provided at pickup.
  7. Final Walkaround
    A final inspection will be completed at return to confirm the Slingshot’s condition, mileage, fuel level, and accessories. Please do your best to return the Slingshot while there is still daylight to ensure a smooth and accurate inspection.
  8. Report Any Issues
    Please notify us immediately of any accidents, tickets, mechanical issues, or damage that occurred during the rental period.
